Online Entry


The deadline for receipt of entries to the 2011 Manchester Writing Competition (The Manchester Fiction Prize) is 5pm (UK time) on Friday 12th August 2011. Please do not enter after this time as your entry won't count but you may still be charged.

On completion of this form, you will be passed to our payments system.

IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Your story will be judged anonymously – please do not type your name on it.
  • Please save your story in a single Word or Rich Text Format file, and then click on “Browse” or "Choose File" button above to search your computer and select that file.
  • The “Story file” box will be completed automatically when you select the file from your computer, and the file will be attached to your online entry form and uploaded to the system when you click to confirm your entry and proceed, below. Your story will be automatically allocated a unique ID number which will allow us to identify you as the author once the judging process is complete. Please do not submit any illustrations, art work or PDF files. You may enter as many stories as you like, but each one must be submitted separately, with its own electronic entry form and entry fee.
